"Music is my life,
It's the joy I can't without!"

Ever since i was a young boy, music was very important to me. It was a way to "Disconnect" from a very Unwelcoming world for an handicapped child. A world where everybody wanted to play soccer or have a party in some far-away woods. It all started with a Tape with flute melodies, something old but complex and full of life. And then there was another Tape, with a lot of disco and pop music but only 3 songs ware played over and over again in my Walkman. it was Sandra, a very sexy singer at that time, who used to sing pop music. Those days, i already decided what is my style.
I wasn't really looking for music. I was just listening to all that was around me, without exploring the rich new world of sound I've been born into. And then, one night, a weekend, my parents house full of guests and noises, Interesting sounds coming out from my big brother's room. Sneaking in, I found my brother and his friends listening to a Tape, their faces in confusion, not understanding the rhythm and sound of it. It was "Charley" by The Prodigy, it was Techno.
"May i have that?", I asked slowly. They didn't care much about it. And so... a new love started in my life. I remember back then, looking for every hint of Techno Music on the radio and television. "Reshet Gimel" during the day, "Gali Tzahal" during the night, It was an exciting new world of music, Fast, Electronic, Alive...

The beginning

Somewhere at 1990, A friend came to visit. He brought with him a computer diskette with two software applications on it. The first, showed an oscillator or "sound waves" but there was no sound coming out of the speaker, something was missing. The other software showed list of Patterns, it was an editing software. but editing what?
Few hours later of trying and failing, my friend left. but i didn't gave up. The next morning, music came out of my computer's internal speaker. More than that, the music that was played was composed with the editing software. I found the world of TRACKKERS and Mod Music.

My Music

In 1993, I started to compose my own music. It started as fun little tunes, exploring my abilities, learned the vocabulary, the tricks and bits. My Sample and Machine collection grew bigger and BIGGER, recording from tv and even from the street. Always after the better devices, better Sound Cards (which wasn't cheep), anything that will give me better sound quality. It was my drug, my poison, the meaning of my life! Morning till' late at night, in front of the "golden" screen (or blue), closed in the dark room, with the tight earphones, in Trance as if in another world. Editing patterns, choosing the sounds, choosing the tones, fine tuning again and again. Hypnotized by the newborn music. Few years later, i started creating my first and only album. In year 2000, it was finished. Using the stage name DJ5000, there it was, DreamScape Visions.
